Adding & inviting users

How to add, edit & invite team members, owners/property owners, housekeepers, and maintenance vendor users

Adding a new user within the People section of the platform is easy, plus you're able to invite property owners, housekeepers, maintenance vendors and other user types to use Direct with the user creation tool.

To add a new user, follow these simple steps:

1. From the very top/main navigation anywhere in the application, click "More" and then dropdown to "People"

2. In the People section of your dashboard, within the "Users" tab, select "Add User" in the upper right corner

2. Input all of the new user's information by completing each field

Note: if you don't have an address or phone number for the user, we suggest adding your company info to 'complete' the profile.

3. That's it! When you select "Create User," they're fully set up, and you'll be able to see the user's information in the "Users" tab of People.

4. If you choose to "Invite" a user to the Direct platform, it will automatically notify the user at the email address in the profile. That email notification will allow them to go to a log in screen where they can create their own password to log into Direct.

ℹ️ New invite emails can occasionally get marked as Spam by the recipient, so this folder should be checked in the event the message is not received.
